advanced FLOW engineering, also known as aFe Power is a premier manufacturer of automotive performance systems. Founded in 1999, aFe has always been very passionate about providing compelling, innovative, and highest performing products. aFe POWER engineers are experts when it comes to performance exhaust systems. They are no stranger to producing high quality Diesel Exhaust Systems.
DIESEL EXHAUST SYSTEMS
aFe offers multiple exhaust systems specifically for Diesel powered vehicles. This includes the Dodge Cummins, Ford Powerstroke, and the GM Duramax.
Upgrading your stock exhaust system will have several benefits for your diesel powered vehicle. Every system will feature mandrel bent tubing which allows for unrestrictive airflow. Unrestrictive airflow allows for more power to be created, resulting in increased horsepower and torque. Additionally, mandrel bent tubing will allow your vehicle to have more of a rich “throaty” sound, as well as increased throttle response.
aFe Power exhaust systems will feature larger diameter piping vs. factory systems. You can expect pipes to range from 2.5” to 5” in diameter. The larger diameter piping helps lower Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGTs). The larger diameter piping also helps you gain increased power.
When choosing a system there are several styles available. You have the option of choosing aluminized steel or stainless steel. You will also be able to choose from dual or single exit style, with either black or polished tips.
aFe Power exhaust systems are manufactured from high quality materials. Produced from 409 stainless steel tubing or high quality aluminized steel, you can expect longevity from your product. Every aFe Power exhaust system will come with OE style bayonet hangers. This allows you to maintain a stable pipe location during high vibration and heat conditions. The bayonet tips lock into the hanger bushing allowing for an OE Style fit.
Furthermore, every aFe Power exhaust system features premium band clamps which allow for a 360 degree seal, OE style flanges, multiple exhaust tip options and slotted or wedged ends wherever possible. Slotted or wedged ends allow for a leak free seal. Lastly, every aFe system is either 100% TIG or MIG welded.
