The idea for LSD doors is imported from the USA by an imaginative young engineer, who wanted to offer this product as an adaptable universal product, a so called ?conversion kit.?
Already during the first talks about a possible cooperation in sales, it was found that the structures of KW automotive GmbH, may be ideally suited to develop this idea into a production- ready product. The plan was to get a product which is produced to the requirements of the customers to get a safe product which is suitable for everyday use.
The patent right from that time are not any more the product from today, except the basic idea. The ?Universal hinges? are today vehicle specific solutions, which could be easy assembled instead the series door hinges.
